The first belt in Taekwondo is the white belt This belt represents innocence as a new student is starting with a clean slate The second belt is the yellow belt which represents the earth This belt is earned after the student has learned the basics of Taekwondo The third belt is the green belt which represents growth This belt is earned after the student has shown significant progress in their training
The fourth belt in Taekwondo is the blue belt which represents the sky This belt is earned after the student has shown a deeper understanding of the techniques and principles of Taekwondo The fifth belt is the red belt which represents danger This belt is earned after the student has shown a high level of skill and dedication to Taekwondo The final colored belt is the black belt which represents mastery To earn a black belt in Taekwondo a student must complete a rigorous training program and demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the martial art
